Ffoslas Charity Race - Countryside Alliance Day (9/10/11)

Shan once again supported the Countryside Alliance charity flat race and finished 7th out of 11 - so not a bad show.

She rode Optimum racing's Gleannacreim and he gave her a lovely ride over mile 3 furlongs.

This was the first time Shan had sat on the horse and her training this year was short and sharp at Tim Vaughan's racing yard due to her very busy filming schedule.

So after a week and a half of intense training with Tim Vaughan, Rhys Hughes and the yard's jockeys - Shani Dettori did them proud! 

Congrats to Craig Messenger from Tim Vaughan's yard for giving Rebecca Curtis a run for her money - finishing 2nd on Saute!
