The Carol Singing and Auction organised by Diane, Leanne & Lindsay Geddes raised £ 1,055 for AJT

A huge thank you must go to everyone who came to support the Christmas Carol event in the Glan-Cynon on Saturday 17th December, 2011. A fabulous £ 1,055 was raised in total. Yet again this is a true reflection of the generosity of the people of Hirwaun.
A great night was had by all with plenty of singing, a raffle and an auction.
A special thank you must go to a number of people, who without their help the night wouldn’t have been possible. Ray Morgan for her enthusiasm and energy on the piano, the gentlemen from St Lleurwgs Church Choir for ‘singing’ us off at the start, Alun Evans for providing the mince pies and mulled wine and all those people who provided auction and raffle prizes.
Also thank you to Andy Robinson for his generous donation of £ 120.
